Basket Weaving with Irma Holmes – July 23

Basket Weaving Class on July 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Learn the skill of basket weaving in this one-day class led by longtime basket weaver and volunteer Irma Holmes! Over the course of one Saturday, Irma will walk you through the materials, cutting, weaving, and finishing of a market basket. The class is limited to 10 people so reserve your spot soon!
The basket class will take place on July 23 and run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course itself costs $40 which is payable to the Lewis & Clark Society of America. This will cover all basket weaving materials and a handle.
Participants should bring a lunch and snacks, a small towel, ruler, tape measure, sharp gardening shears/ household scissors, utility/x-acto knife, and pencil. These tools will not be provided.
